Apostle Kathy B. Matthews

With a pure dedication and unyielding passion, Apostle K. B. Matthews has fervently pursued the building of God's Kingdom. Her ability to live her life in the Word and by the Word, has caused her to be an extraordinary example to many. She has demonstrated a high level for responsibility throughout the decades. Apostle Matthews teaches and preaches the Word of God with a spiritual eye, and she allows her unique relationship with the Holy Spirit to bring an anointing with power. She has exercised her gift with such exceptional zeal, spiritual insight, biblical principles, practical counsel and strategic thinking. Her thirst for knowledge, and a strong advocate of the spiritual growth and development, has caused her to go the extra miles to ensure quality results from her endeavors.

Apostle Kathy B. Matthews is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina and was born 1958. Apostle Kathy Matthews attended DZ Barber College where she became a registered barber, also a Co-business owner of Sharpkuts Barber Shop. Apostle Matthews continued in religious education, at Full Gospel College, two years at Liberty University, and studied at Moriah Institute of Christian Studies. Apostle Matthews has been in good standing as a member with Light University in Christian Counseling and also as a Life Coach. The years of experience, education, and accomplishments has afforded Apostle Matthews to receive an Honorary Doctorate of Ministry Degree. She is in pursuit of her Bachelor of Arts Degree in religious studies. Apostle Matthews has also appeared as a guest panelist on the Bishop Greg Davis Show through the Covenant Sisters International Conference. Apostle Matthews is the North Carolina Chapter overseer for the CSI Conference.

Apostle K. B. Matthews was spirit filled at the age of eighteen and has been blessed with numerous talents that have been displayed in other organizations of ministries. Apostle K. B. Matthews was ordained as a minister in 1995 under the late Pastor A. F. McKinnon. Despising not the day of small things, God blessed Apostle Kathy Matthews to birth forth a ministry that was preordained before the time of her conception. In 1997, Well of Living Waters Ministries, Inc. was established, a ministry of restoration and reconciliation. Installed as Pastor of Well of Living Waters Ministries, Inc. by Bishop Johnson in April 1997. Apostle Matthews is the overseer of two churches with two locations: House of Refuge founded by Pastor Tony and Pastor Sandra Fairley in Hartsville, SC and Power Center Church founded by Bishop Harold and First Lady Shareaka Bennett III in Saint Pauls, NC.

There was a greater call according to the plan of God. Answering the call that was predestined by God confirmed through a great board of counsel, Apostle K.B. Matthews was ordained on December 7, 2013 by Chief Consecrator Apostle Joyce A. Thornton (Committed To Christ Ministries; Dallas, Texas).

We are reminded in Proverbs 29:18 that, “Where there is no vision the people perish.” The vision of this ministry is to empower the total man with spiritual growth, education, and guidance. As we continued to grow as a church family, many individuals and families in our community have benefited greatly.

Apostle Matthews has two wonderful sons Deldric and Darrell, and six grandchildren, Derica, LeAsia, Eriana, Emani, Elias, and Mason.

Apostle Matthews is inflamed with love for the Lord, deeply rooted in contemplation and prayer and has been encouraged to win the winnable, reach the reachable, teach the teachable, and train the trainable for the body of Christ.
